#HealingTheCuts: A Shakaring

#HealingTheCuts: A Shakaring pilots our new community showcase format. The “shakaring” will be an intimate Shake! caring, sharing space, where artists will be performing new works developed over our last two intensive courses #HealingTheCuts and #MovementMedicine.

Featuring poetry, film, song & music from Shake! family artists including:

Shake!'s own Rotimi Skyers will also launch his book on the night, reading from his newly published poetry collection “Have You Ever Seen A Sistah Blush”.

Games will be hosted throughout the evening with original art work by Sana Badri and Sameer

Shake! is a project that brings together young people, artists & campaigners to develop creative responses to social injustice, initiated by Platform in 2010.
