Breath Control
Breathe in…
And out…
And… don’t… stop.
Breath Control is about the inhalations and exhalations that form the melody, rhythm and punctuation of our everyday existence.
Although breathing is universal, it is personal. It is a sustaining action that can be both conscious and subconscious, completely taken for granted and the sole focus of life itself.
As part of a residency with Pier Projects, Breath Control in Felixstowe takes the form of a durational, interactive work, the 'Breathing Hut', re-sited for a beach hut. Working with climate scientists, this special version of the work will consider whether “taking in the sea air” is still relevant in our increasingly polluted environment.
