Homework Club: Arts Council Project Grants

Artsadmin’s Homework Club is a welcoming co-working space for performance-based and multi-disciplinary artists, producers, and creatives to come together, learn, and make progress on their projects.

About this series

This Homework Club series focuses on the Arts Council England (ACE) Project Grant, supporting artists and creative practitioners to develop and deliver ambitious projects.

Facilitated by Artsadmin Producers, this series offers practical guidance on applying for the Project Grant, with each session focusing on a different stage of shaping and strengthening your application.

Each session begins with a 45-minute presentation and Q&A, providing practical insights tailored to that session’s focus. After the presentation, you’ll have dedicated time to work on your application or other related tasks, with Artsadmin Producers on hand to offer guidance and answer questions.

Dates & Focus

The first session takes place online (12 – 1.30pm). All other sessions take place at Artsadmin Café (3 – 6 pm).

Why join?

Funding applications don’t have to be daunting or isolating. Homework Clubs are about collaborative learning, sharing experiences, and building confidence with the support of a creative community.

What should I prepare?

Before the workshop, please read the ACE Project Grant guidance. Bring your laptop and any writing materials you prefer. It will be helpful to come with draft ideas, notes, or supporting materials related to your project. You’re also welcome to bring specific questions or any feedback you’ve previously received from ACE if you’ve applied before.
