Join this participatory online session to learn more about our Lab XL programme, delivered in partnership with Creative Migration/Bangkok 1899 and consider how care can be embedded in daily routines, creative practices and organisational systems to sustain yourself, your community and your work.

Throughout the Lab XL programme Susannah Tantemsapya, Founder & Executive Director of Creative Migration and Bangkok 1899 and Raidene Carter, Artistic Director and Co-CEO of London-based Artsadmin, will host and contribute to public events, sector dinners, artist-led discussions and workshops in their city of exchange. Together, and with their organisations, they’ll explore how cross-cultural leadership, climate justice and care intersect and manifest in their roles and how these perspectives can shape more sustainable and equitable models of cultural production both in the UK and Thailand.

For this 90-minute session they’ll be joined by Trevor Lee from With Love Projects (LA, US) and Nassy Konan from Producer Gathering (B’ham, UK) who’ll provide inspiration for you to explore the leadership themes at the heart of Lab XL in relation to your own practice/work. It will be a substantive exchange of like-minded cultural influencers in its own right, and a launchpad for the activities in London this June and in Bangkok September-October.

Lab XL is supported by British Council’s 2025/26 Connections Through Culture grant programme.

The session will be facilitated on Zoom with written and spoken English. It will mostly be delivered using a slide presentation and attendees will be placed into breakout spaces for smaller group conversations.
