Love Letters to a Liveable Future: Online at the Change Festival

METIS Love Letters to a Liveable Future. Photo by Oliver Lucas

Over several years of research and collaboration, interdisciplinary performance company METIS, led by Zoë Svendsen, have been imagining alternatives to the current global economic order within the context of climate change.

Part documentary film, part live discussion, this virtual event invites you to explore the power of the imagination to stimulate hope and shift mindsets. Meet the creators behind METIS’ latest work Love Letters to a Liveable Future. Enjoy extracts of the show. And hear from change makers who are already living and breathing the world that Love Letters conjures into being.

The future is on its way – it’s time we started rehearsing for the kind of world we need to build together. So come and exercise your imagination with us as we create new possibilities for an eco-logical future.

‘Love Letter to a Liveable Future: The Show’ was performed and devised by:

Anna-Maria Nabirye, Charlie Folorunsho, Jess Mabel Jones, Shôn Dale-Jones, Stefanie Mueller & Tom Ross-Williams. Directed/designed by Zoë Svendsen with Simon Daw (set/video), Nao Nagai (lighting), Catherine Hawthorn (sound) & John Macedo (film). With the support of associates: Carolyn Downing, Lucy Wray, Rob Awosusi and Andrea Ling. Production Management: Steve Wald.

Commissioned by Junction through Season for Change, a UK-wide cultural programme inspiring urgent and inclusive action on climate change led by Artsadmin and Julie’s Bicycle.
