Anchor Directory

A curated contact hub for artists working in live art and contemporary performance. 

What is the Anchor Directory?

The Anchor Directory brings together a wide range of contacts for organisations, funding bodies, mailing lists, and studio spaces to support your creative activities. 

How to use the directory

The Anchor Directory is hosted on Airtable. You can use filter conditions to refine what you see. You can filter by resource type, region, or art form to create a tailored list that suits your practice and location. For the best experience, including full functionality of filters, please view this page on a laptop or desktop computer.

To get started: 

  1. Click on the “Filter” button at the top left of the Airtable view. 
  1. Use filter conditions to narrow the results. For example: 
  1. Resource Type is “Studio Spaces” 
  1. Region contains “London” 
  1. You can add multiple filter conditions and use the “sort” button to customise and organise your search further.

Artsadmin Anchor Editorial Guidelines

The information in the Artsadmin Anchor is sourced from a wide network of artists, producers and creatives. The digest is currently sent out on Tuesdays, and the directory is updated monthly. Please read our Editorial Policy before submitting information. We are unable to include all submissions due to space limitations and editorial reasons. Artsadmin’s editorial decision is final.

We can also accept submissions for the Anchor Directory and Digest via phone for access reasons. Please call 020 7247 5102.

Artsadmin’s Anchor Digest features information on funding, commissions, platforms, calls for artists, seminars, workshops, courses, resources, jobs, opportunities, studio space and more. 

Artsadmin’s Anchor Directory features information on organisations, festivals, funding bodies, mailing lists, and studio spaces. 

We prioritise opportunities:  

  • That align with or aspire to the mission and values of Artsadmin.
  • That are paid fairly and not exploitative.
  • For artists and arts professionals, particularly those in contemporary performance.
  • Are in line with Artsadmin’s Ethical Fundraising Policy.
  • That are inclusive and non-discriminatory as Artsadmin strives to celebrate diversity and fight marginalism.

Please note that the Artsadmin Anchor does not advertise events, shows, exhibitions or fundraising/crowd-funding campaigns. 

We are unable to include all submissions to the Artsadmin Anchor due to space limitations and for the above editorial reasons. Artsadmin’s editorial decision is final. 

We advise that people are careful when contacting or meeting someone they don’t know and suggest that you tell someone where and when you’re going beforehand.

Please be aware that any personal details you submit will be published and cannot be edited by you once live. If you would like your personal details to be removed, please contact us in line with the Right to be Forgotten or Subject Access Request procedure outlined in our Privacy Policy.

We endeavour to check each post in the Digest and Directory, but due to capacity reasons, we are unable to scrutinise every one in detail.
