Artichoke are creative producers who work with artists to invade our public spaces and create extraordinary experiences that live in the memory forever.
Since 2006, Artichoke has staged large-scale art events across the UK, aiming to reach the widest possible audience. This includes Royal de Luxe’s The Sultan’s Elephant; La Machine, an enchanting mechanical spider in Liverpool; building and burning David Best’s Temple in Derry-Londonderry; the major light festivals Lumiere Durham, Lumiere Derry-Londonderry and Lumiere London; and most recently London’s Burning, a festival of art and ideas marking 350years since the Great Fire of London.
