Cindy Oswin is a writer, performer and director who has worked with many innovative theatre companies, as well as writing for opera and film.
Her long term project, On the Fringe, a personal history of British experimental theatre from the sixties to the eighties, was presented as a lecture at the Artsdamin summer Season in 2007 and at the British Library In the same year.
In 2008 the project expanded to include the history of the Edinburgh Fringe in collaboration with the Festival Fringe and the British Library and in 2008 and 2009 Cindy and a curator from the British Library made further video recordings during the festival.
