Exit Strategy is a collaborative partnership between two theatre artists, Theron Schmidt and Chris Goode.
Drawing extensively on disciplines outside theatre, and on a close concern with absence and remembrance, the work unfolds from a belief in the theatrical encounter as ineluctably political, and attempts to disclose potential landscapes for radical social and personal change. Characterised by its intimacy, complexity and explicit honesty, Exit Strategy’s work re-presents theatre as the militant tendency of friendship.
