’m interested in how language shapes belonging & how we might use it to build freer futures. I tell stories that ask: Whose imagination are we living in? How do we feel belonging? When do we get to practise freedom?
I’ve performed with the Roundhouse, DAYTIMERS & the Southbank Centre. I am a recipient of the Disabled Poets Prize, the Faber & Andlyn Publisher’s Prize and the RSL Literature Matters Award. My novel-in-verse, Bad Queer, is forthcoming with Faber.
