Summer 2011 is the Summer of Love in Stratford-Upon-Avon as Helen Paris and Leslie Hill invite the town to share stories of the people, places and things in their lives they love.
Working with photographer Hugo Glendinning and sound artist Graeme Miller, Curious will create an installation in the Swan Gallery at the RSC incorporating fourteen portraits inspired by these stories and by the Shakespearean Sonnet form.
In August, audiences will have the opportunity to step aboard a unique river cruise to experience a live performance in an evocative journey along the Avon. The soundscape and stories of love will also be available on MP3 players should people wish to experience 14 Lines of Love on their very own river journey.
14 Lines of Love has been commissioned as part of the RSC’s summer events programme celebrations and is supported by the Hosking Houses Trust.
