Artwork by Tim Spooner

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting donations to Artsadmin’s 2016 Christmas Raffle. All donations go directly to the Artists’ Bursary Scheme. Since 1996, the scheme has supported over 200 UK-based artists working in live art and contemporary performance.

This unique 18 month package comprises of a cash award, mentoring and advocacy and supports artistic experiment, risk, speculation and play, rather than focussing on the production or touring of finished work. This allows artists to delve into the new without pressure to produce a final result. The bursary is not a commission or production grant but a package of support oriented towards research and process that can be used flexibly according to each artist’s needs.

Most importantly, this year your donations will be matched as part of our Catalyst Evolve funding from Arts Council England.

We want to raise enough to fund one artist bursary: £3,500. Help us to get there.

The prizes on offer this year include:

Artwork and a t-shirt by Franko B; 2 tickets to the Tower Bridge exhibition; a bike helmet by E1 Cycles; a Tarot card reading by Rosalie Schweiker; a homemade cake baked by Bridie Bell; a bottle of Brecon gin; a hunt and darton mug; a pair of VIP weekend passes to the Festival of Thrift; postcards by Tim Etchells; postcards by Ackroyd & Harvey; a mug from the vacuum cleaner; a picture frame; a 3 course meal for two at the Town Hall Hotel; a copy of Atypical Plays for Atypical Actors by Kate O’Reilly; posters by Cameron Morgan; 2 tickets to Assisted Suicide The Musical by Liz Carr; Derwent Art Prize drawing; jewelry from Ruth Leslie; The Dinner Party Revisited book & DVD by Katherine Araniello; vegan burgers for 2 at Mooshies; a signed ceramic tile by jamie lewis hadley; confectionary from Spun; 2 tickets to Tree of Codes by Company Wayne McGregor; a food hamper and The Shirt from World Factory by METIS.

Date of draw: 15 December
Best of luck!
