As a team, we, like you, have been watching the news with deep anger and sadness, and reflecting on the structural inequalities laid bare during the pandemic, within the arts sector and across wider society in the UK.

Artsadmin is a majority white organisation and, as such, we are actively committed to educating ourselves and are in the process of discussing and actioning a lot of changes in our organisation. Now is the time to be clear. We need to stand up against racism. We stand with Black, indigenous, people of colour (BIPOC).We included anti-racist resources in our e-digest newsletter on 2 June and on 9 June and continue to gather others for our weekly e-digest newsletter. If you would like to share your own research with artists and arts professionals in our community, please make a submission so we can share these via this newsletter. 

Artsadmin, as a team, is making donations to funds supporting Black, indigenous, people of colour, including LGBTQI+ communities, in memory of George Floyd and the many people who have suffered at the hands of police brutality.* Our anti-racist work continues.
