In the Reign of Translation

An intervention by Piersandra di Matteo on the work of Bock & Vincenzi. This talk is part of a week long workshop Simon Vincenzi is giving as part of London Dance International.

Piersandra di Matteo is a theater historian and art critic. She carries out research activity at DMS/University of Bologna. Her interests are within the performing arts and contemporary art, developing a continuous research on the verbal code functions within post-dramatic theatre. She is chief-editor of “Arteatro” and “Exibart”, and web-editor of “CultureTeatrali”. She is the creator, along with the philosopher and performer Snejanka Mihaylova, of the international platform Mont Analogue, a traveling-magazine focused on the relationship among performing arts and philosophy.  Her essays have appeared in several magazines (that include “Prove di drammaturgia”, “Culture Teatrali”, “Hystrio”, “Art’O”, “Contemporary Theatre Review”, “Alias” de “il manifesto”, “DOMUS”). Piersandra also works as an independent curator.
