Screenings

Associate artists Lucy Cash and Athina Vahla will be screening work as part of the Home Made Festival at Chisenhale Dance Space on 27 & 28 November from 2pm to 6pm (Saturday) and 2pm to 9pm (Sunday).

Never the Same Twice
Using images from the Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green and interviews with a wide range of people from the local area, this short film imagines what would happen if the museum collection could speak.

Fight Club
A short film made by Monica Alcazar to document Athina’s Homelands commission for Chisenhale Dance Space in 2009. For Fight Club, Athina worked with a dancer and a dance scientist alongside a boxer and his trainer from Repton Boys Boxing Club in Bethnal Green to investigate sports training, structures and rituals.
