This June, Curious have been asking Stratford-Upon-Avon residents and visitors to talk to them about the places, things and people they love. Inspired by the fourteen lines of a Shakespearean sonnet, fourteen people were chosen to have their portrait taken by acclaimed photographer Hugo Glendinning. These portraits, taken in a treasured spot or with a loved one, celebrate the epic within the everyday.
Look out for the accompanying performance, Slipstreaming, made for a boat cruise along the River Avon on 6 & 7 August.
14 Lines has been commissioned as part of the RSC’s summer events programme celebrations and is supported by the Hosking Houses Trust.
