art of begegnung comes tomorrow slowly (workshop)

An exploration of violence, using dinner plates.

This workshop is for women interested in exploring the themes of domestic violence, you will work with Sinéad O’Donnell and 100 white plates over a 4 hour period.

You will work with Sinéad in a group as she shares her artistic process of the making of art of begegnunng comes tomorrow slowly, which will involve you working closely with Sinéad discussing personal stories, creating small actions and manipulating a large stack of white dinner plates.

The workshop will be for 6 people and is specifically designed for women. By attending the workshop you are requested to make sure you are able to attend the following performance of the work on Sun 17 Feb from 2-6pm. You will also be given the opportunity to perform with Sinéad in the work on Sunday but this will be negotiated with you within the workshop and you may choose to simply attend and not perform.
