
Part of Sinéad’s Violent performance series in which she explores the sound of the word violent and the imminent threat of violence rather than its actual physical force.
The artist meticulously stacks dinner plates so high that they tower above her head and then collapse. The debris made by this action creates a fragmented sculpture that slowly covers the floor.
