Making Progress: Questioning the culture of ‘scratch’
GETINTHEBACKOFTHEVAN
7.30pm. Free
GETINTHEBACKOFTHEVAN have been undertaking a research project on ‘scratch’ opportunities and work-in-progress models.
What are the most useful and economic forms of feedback and how far should artists engage with them? How does curation relate to scratch?
Is the proliferation of these opportunities necessarily a good thing?
In this public talk they will discuss their findings so far and talk to various artists and curators about their own experiences in this arena.
On the panel will be David Micklem (ex-Artistic Director BAC), Amy Letman (Associate Producer, West Yorkshire Playhouse), Mamoru Iriguchi (Artist).
