PILOT

A new festival of live and visual arts by the sea.

Starts midday.

PILOT is a free festival taking place in various locations around the seaside town of Brightlingsea, created and curated by Caroline Wright.

This mini festival of newly commissioned exhibitions and performances made in response to Brightlingsea’s unique sense of time and place features work by Caroline Wright, Amy Sharrocks, Richard DeDomenici, Abi Cunliffe, Briony Clarke, Jackie Chettur and Wayne Burrows. At the inaugural PILOT festival, you will get the chance to try out a new local currency, visit a museum of water, hear a new musical work composed from river depth readings, sample some candy floss clouds and take part in a mass public swim in the local lido.

You can see the full programme here or pick up a map on the day from the festival hub at Coach House Coffee Shop, Waterside, Brightlingsea, CO7 0AX
