Tube Kultura
7.30pm. £5.
Your Tube journeys are never going to be the same again!
The Tube is our cherished icon, an essential part of living in London. Join us for an evening packed with the joys of London life.
Seven great people – all doing inspirational things connected with the Underground – share their stories, each in just seven minutes.
The Tube doesn't just get you from A to Z, but spawns a literally, Underground culture.
Enjoy the artists, musicians, Tube racers, bloggers, Tube staff heroes, historians and entrepreneurs who all do amazing: amazing things inspired by your London Underground.
They come together for the first time, to share their trails and tribulations, to make you laugh, cry or be amazed. You don’t have to be an anorak to enjoy Tube Kultura (although Tube nerds are welcome). Rather, it’s how having pride, opinions or your very own quirky take or story about the Tube, is an essential badge that marks out the dignity of being a Londoner.
The Alternative Fringe festival celebrates the next 150 years of the London Underground. It's about how the Tube belongs to the people who use it, Londoners, rather than the TfL executives. (They probably disapprove of one or two of our speakers…)
