Acclaimed poets and Toynbee tenants, Stephen Watts and Tom Chivers, will read some of their works, in celebration of language.

London-born Tom Chivers is a published poet as well as editor of the award-winning anthology Adventures in Form. Tom has made site-specific and audio work for a wide variety of arts organisations. This evening Tom’s work will touch on themes of London history, alternative geographies, bodies and ritual.

Stephen Watts, deemed one of the “most fine and subtle writers on the relations of landscape and mind”, has most recently published the anthology Ancient Sunlight.
