O and BYBG

O is a 50-minute romp through the minefield of identity politics, driven by basslines, paper signs and deftly thrown shapes. Kinda like what happened when Yellowman met Angela Carter for a cup of tea in the jungle. Following O will be their DJ set BYBG (Be Your Black Girlfriend), a state rather than a show, that sees Project O transform into women made up of the fantasies that have been placed upon them, in order to have conversations around the fetishisation of black identity and the marginalisation of the other.
