Public Assembly: A Workshop on Global Citizenship

Join artist Emma Smith and invited guests in a public forum for debate and exchange on global citizenship and the cosmopolitan.

 Guest contributors include Nikolay Mintchev, visiting lecturer UCL Institute for Global Prosperity specializing in ethnic diversity, social theory and psychoanalysis, and Manick Govinda, Head of Artists’ Advisory Services and Producer for Artsadmin, steering group member for Manifesto Club and freelance writer and campaigner on free expression and arts and immigration issues.

 This event is part of Chora: a thought experiment and web based artwork, by Emma Smith, to consider our shared humanity. The event will include talks, group discussion and the opportunity to take part in the artwork, which is being exhibited at the Royal College of Art 9-20 March.

 This event is FREE.

This project has been commissioned by Lavinia Filippi and Amanda Masha Caminals as part of PROJECT_16: London, Lahore, São Paulo – an exhibition at the Royal College of Art, London, UK, 9 – 20 March 2016.
