Occuupaaatiiiiooooon !!

Tanz Im August will host Occuupaaatiiiiooooon !! – a selection of La Ribot's most notable works throuhgout the festival. From the Sophiensaele and the HAU theatres to Barbra Weiss Gallery, the spaces will be filled with her live performances, installations and video works.

Opening the festival with the durational performance Laughing Hole, the programme will also include sections of her acclaimed Distinguished Pieces. This includes Panoramix, last seen at the Tate Modern in 2003, in which she presents the first 34 pieces in an epic three-hour performance. Her latest series Another Distinguée, will also feature, where she is joined by her co-performers Thami Manekehla and Juan Lorriente. 

Running throughout will be an exhibition of a selection of La Ribot's video works including Mariachi 17, Film Noir and Another pa amb tomàquet.
