Workshop: Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice

The Developing your Creative Practice funding scheme from Arts Council England offers artists an incredible opportunity to go deeper into their practice, but what does a successful application look like? 

This afternoon session invites potential applicants to: 

• hear case studies from Jo Cowan, a Combined Arts Relationship Manager at Arts Council England;
• gain insight from a panel of DYCP recipients from a range of creative backgrounds; 
• discuss how long a DYCP plan should be, how much to ask for, ways to frame your activity, what is (and isn’t) eligible for the fund, and whether you should apply for a Project Grant or DYCP.  

The venue is wheelchair accessible. The workshop takes place is in a meeting room and a breakout room is provided. A relaxed performance kit, including cushions, ear defenders, pillows, blankets and yoga mats is available upon request.
