Artsadmin’s Homework Club is a welcoming space for performance-based and multi-disciplinary artists, producers, and creatives to come together, learn, and make progress on their projects.

This Homework Club series focuses on Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP) fund (Round 24). The fund supports individual artists and creative practitioners to take time to research, experiment, and develop their creative practice.

Arts Council’s DYCP Round 24 key dates

  • Applications open: Midday, Thursday 4 June 2026
  • Applications close: Midday, Thursday 2 July 2026
  • Decisions due: Thursday 8 October 2026

The series is facilitated by Artsadmin Producers and offers practical guidance on DYCP, with each session focusing on a different stage of shaping and strengthening your application.

Each session begins with a 45‑minute presentation and Q&A, followed by dedicated time to work on your application or related tasks, with Artsadmin Producers on hand throughout to offer guidance and answer questions.

FAQ

You’ll find answers to some common questions about the series below.

This series is for artists and creatives at all stages of their careers who want to better understand and access Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice funding. Please note that you cannot apply if you have made one successful or two unsuccessful DYCP applications since 9 November 2021 (Round 12).

Because funding applications don’t have to be daunting or isolating. Homework Clubs are about shared learning, mutual support, and building confidence alongside a creative community.

Before the workshop, please read the ACE DYCP guidance. Bring your laptop and any materials you prefer. It’s helpful to come with draft ideas, notes, or supporting materials related to your practice. You’re also welcome to bring specific questions, or feedback from previous ACE applications.

If you’re unable to attend Homework Club, consider booking a 1:1 Creative Support session with Artsadmin. You can use the time to focus on DYCP, for example developing your idea or shaping your application, with a mentor available to guide you.
