Geraldine Pilgrim creates theatre performances, site-specific events and installations in unusual buildings and locations where the architecture of the site is used as the narrative.
The projects often involve young people, older people and arts and community groups working alongside professional practitioners. With her company, Corridor, Geraldine has toured widely, often responding to site-specific commissions.
“An eloquence emanates from these abandoned spaces, and Pilgrim cleverly allows them to speak for themselves, to reveal more than she imposes.”
