Local parent–child artist duo Tink & Abra Flaherty are hosting a series of creative workshops exploring what care, community and family mean to people on the Golden Lane Estate.
Meet each other. Share stories. Create something new.

- 29 & 30 August, 2 – 4pm
- 5 & 6 September, 2 – 4pm
- 19 September, 2 – 4pm
- 20 September, 12 – 1pm (plus an optional sharing 2 – 3pm)

What will we do?
In these fun, collaborative sessions participants will:
- explore creative writing, storytelling and performance
- take part in creative group activities
- share ideas, memories and perspectives in a friendly, relaxed and inclusive space
- light refreshments will be provided
There will be a relaxed sharing on the final day, where participants can celebrate what they’ve made with neighbours and friends.
Who is it for?
These workshops are intergenerational and open to everyone from Golden Lane Estate and neighbours from the wider City of London area.
- all ages and backgrounds are welcome
- no experience is needed
- participants can come alone or with others
- young people are especially encouraged to join
(under 14s must be accompanied by an adult)
Who are the artists:
Tink and Abra Flaherty are Golden Lane residents and professional artists.
Their show Gen X Gen Z, based on their real-life parent-daughter relationship, premiered to a sold-out audience at the Southbank Centre (October 2025).
Inspired by this show, and their neighbourhood, they’re excited to connect with their community and celebrate local stories.
