2019

Artsadmin’s biennial festival of art and climate change returns for the sixth time in June.

2 Degrees Festival invites you to take the future into your own hands with a programme of performances, discussion, workshops and an exhibition, 1-9 June 2019

Join diverse voices, from primary school children to activist groups to queer artists, to explore climate justice, migration, conservation, gender, activism, the ethics of arts funding, the effects of a mining disaster and how we can work together for a more sustainable future.

Please note that there have been some changes to the programme:

  • Wild Longings by Curious has been postponed due to one of the lead artists having an emergency appendectomy.
  • These artists are no longer presenting work: Ama Josephine Budge, Andre Neely, Xavier de Sousa, Ania Varez and Edythe Woolley. For more context, please read our open letter. If you have any questions or feedback, do not hesitate to get in touch.

2 Degrees Festival is produced by Artsadmin and supported by Arts Council England and the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union as part of Imagine 2020 (2.0). Wild Longings is supported by the City of London Corporation. Monuments of Tower Hamlets is supported by Tower Hamlets Council.
