£60 per Weekender
10.30am-5.30pm
(You must be available to attend both days)

Join artist, activist and self-confessed inanist Richard DeDomenici for a weekend of auto didactic self sabotage.

Together participants will look to create new transgressive artforms – from idiotic art for the intelligent to clever art to the clutzes. As part of the process all the risks will be calculated and failure will be embraced wholeheartedly.

It's time to take Art to the next illogical step, time to confuse the world into submission. It's futurology. It's revolution through obfuscation. This weekend you will change the world… If only a teeny bit.

Richard gives us an insight with a video on Artsonline

Other notable works include the lecture performances Embracing Failure, Plane Food Café and Plagiarismo! Richard is currently finishing a triptych of Olympic-inspired works called Reminiscences of a Backwards Future, commissioned by Live Art Collective East, and preparing to make an igloo out of Kendal mint cake for Kendal's Mint Fest festival. ‘'Richard DeDomenici is one of the most fascinating artists to have emerged from the British performance art scene in the past decade. DeDomenici is an excellent example of the best that live art has to offer. Clever, tremendously funny, powerfully political and unafraid to be accessible.’'
Mark Brown, Sunday Herald
