2019-20 Unlimited Trainees, Mojere Ajayi-Engunjobi and Alistair Gentry

Since 2013, Unlimited has employed disabled trainees to develop their skills, gain experience delivering a commissioning programme and address the lack of disabled people working in the cultural sector. Hear about Alistair and MJ’s experiences as trainees and find out how to apply to the 2021 Traineeship.

Unlimited is a commissioning programme, delivered in partnership by Shape Arts and Artsadmin. This autumn, our current trainees come to the end of their time with us, a time that didn’t pan out like any of us planned. Alistair and MJ adapted along with the team – and you can see just what they made of their traineeships in their video response below. You can also watch this video with BSL and audio described.

Apply for a traineeship with Unlimited

We are looking for two new trainees to join the team from January 2021. One trainee will work at Shape Arts, based in Peckham, and one at Artsadmin, based in Aldgate East, although both roles may start with remote working in the first few months. These are full time positions aimed at disabled people wanting to start their careers in the art sector working across a wide range of areas: working with artists, on events, on marketing and communications and more. They will join the programme at an exciting time as we award over half a million pounds in awards and continue our transition into an independent organisation.

Apply for the 2021 Traineeship by 5pm, 12 November 2020
