Announcing Artsadmin Lab Artists, 2026
We’re excited to share the six artists who’ll make up the two cohorts of our curated residency programme this Summer and Autumn. Based at our home, Toynbee Studios, Artsadmin Lab supports artists in the early stages of developing new work through dedicated time and space for live and interdisciplinary practices. Rather than working towards a finished outcome, artists use the programme to research, test ideas, build collaborations and deepen their projects.
The Summer cohort have responded to the thematic invitation of Roots to explore origin, place, lineage, memory and grounding, while the Autumn cohort have been inspired by notions of Repair to consider healing, care, restoration, rebuilding and futures.
With this approach we hope to create connections between the artists’ research and practice, and provide a shared basis for peer exchange.

Each artist receives 1 week of free studio space at Toynbee Studios and £1000. They’ll also receive dedicated support and mentorship from Artsadmin producers.
Following their residencies, all artists will be invited to join the Lab alumni network, which provides ongoing opportunities to be part of future networking and sharing events, alongside continued access to our resources and team.
