Artsadmin is pleased to announce the recipients for the 2019/20 BANNER award: Shereen Zoumot and Sinéad Hargan.

BANNER is a programme for artists graduating from art school led by Artsadmin in partnership with Goldsmiths University of London and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, with additional support from Live Art Development Agency.

Artsadmin started BANNER in 2014 and has supported recent graduate artists to transition into the professional sphere through a holistic programme of ongoing dialogue and research gatherings, culminating in a showcase for a mixed audience of the public, artists, programmers and producers.

BANNER reflects Artsadmin’s core mission to support bold and compelling art-making process and practice through artist development, education and producing.

Since 2014 BANNER has supported five graduate artists/companies from MA Performance Making at Goldsmiths – Umama Hamido, Cori Williams, Teddy May de Kock, Elinor Lewis and Lorie Jo Trainor Buckingham and Ana Vicente  – and four graduate artists/companies from BA Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – Nima Sené, Gudrun Soley Sigurdardottir, Thulani Rachia and Sharon Fraser.
