Banner is a programme for artists graduating from art school led by Artsadmin in partnership with Goldsmiths University of London and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, with additional support from Live Art Development Agency.
Artsadmin initiated Banner in 2014 to support recent graduate artists to transition into the professional sphere through a holistic support including access to space, professional resources and mentorship. The programme reflects Artsadmin’s core mission to support bold and compelling art-making process and practice through artist development, education and producing.
Since 2014 Banner has supported five graduate artists/companies from MA Performance Making at Goldsmiths – Umama Hamido, Cori Williams, Teddy May de Kock, Elinor Lewis and Lorie Jo Trainor Buckingham and Ana Vicente – and four graduate artists/companies from BA Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – Nima Séne, Gudrun Soley Sigurdardottir, Thulani Rachia and Sharon Fraser.
From October 2019 – June 2020, Artsadmin supported Shereen Zoumot (she/her) and Sinéad Hargan (she/her).
