Refugee Week Fundraiser – In This World screening

The world is suffering the biggest refugee crisis since the second world war, sadly on the borders of a less than welcoming Europe.

Join us during Refugee Week for a screening of the award-winning film In This World directed by Michael Winterbottom, a harrowing account of two Afghan teenagers’ attempt to travel to Europe. Made in 2003, ten years before the refugee crisis reached the current unprecedented level, the Observer stated:

No one seeing it will fail to be moved or to gain an understanding of what millions of people today are going through

All ticket proceeds will go to Médecins Sans Frontières, an independent medical aid charity running clinics in Calais, Greece and throughout the world.
