Slipstreaming
Curious
7pm & 8.30pm
An evening cruise on the River Avon aboard The Lotus. Audiences are taken on a memorable journey through past and future, fate, fact and fiction. Unmoored and adrift on the river, the Captain steers a route awash with the velvet voice of chanteuse Claudia Barton and the mythical yarns spun by Purser Hill. Meanwhile, misguided tour guide Miss Paris maps the terrain. With a hypnotic soundtrack by Graeme Miller, this is a boat trip with a difference where a very important choice has to be made…
Slipstreaming has been commissioned as part of the RSC’s summer events programme and is supported by the Hosking Houses Trust. It is presented alongside the exhibition, 14 Lines, in the Swan Room.
