Unlimited Traineeship 2015/16
Shape and Artsadmin were selected by Arts Council England to deliver the next round of Unlimited – a national programme supporting disabled artists to develop ambitious and high quality work.
Following Artsadmin’s successful Traineeship programme which has been running since 1998, we are delighted to be working with Shape to support three disabled trainees each with a twelve-month traineeship in producing, project management and the provision of resources to artists, with a view to developing a career in contemporary arts throughout the three years of the Unlimited programme.
The programme offers a long-term learning opportunity through direct involvement in Unlimited; assisting in developing and coordinating artist’s projects, work with venues and advisory support for disabled artists working across a wide range of artforms.
Research shows that there is currently a shortage of disabled arts professionals, particularly as arts producers. It is felt that this imbalance needs to be addressed in order to provide more disabled role models in the arts. We would like to positively encourage disabled individuals who meet the person specification to apply for this post.
Deadline for applications: 12 midday on Wednesday 3 December 2014.
Interviews will take place on Wednesday 7 January 2015.

The next traineeship will be advertised in late 2014.
Artsadmin's year long paid traineeship has been running for a number of years. Each year one candidate is offered a twelve-month traineeship in producing, project management and the provision for resources to artists, with a view to developing a career in contemporary arts.
