Artsadmin Traineeship 2015

Artsadmin’s Traineeship programme has been running since 1998. Each year, one candidate is offered a twelve-month traineeship in producing, project management and the provision for resources to artists, with a view to developing a career in contemporary arts.

This traineeship would suit someone with a strong interest in contemporary performance practice who wishes to develop a career in an administrative capacity.  Artsadmin particularly welcomes applications from those who have a proven interest in our area of work but need to gain more experience before entering full employment.

The programme offers a long-term learning opportunity through direct involvement across Artsadmin’s activity; assisting in developing and coordinating artist’s projects, bursary schemes, and advisory support for artists working across contemporary performance practice.

Deadline for applications: 12 midday, Monday 9 February 2015.

Interviews will take place on Wednesday 25 February 2015.

The traineeship starts in April 2015.

Unlimited - Call for Commissions

Unlimited is a scheme for arts by disabled artists, managed by Artsadmin and Shape, funded by Arts Council England, Arts Council Wales, Creative Scotland and Spirit of 2012 to create high quality, extraordinary art by disabled artists and get that work seen by diverse audiences.

We are inviting England, Scotland and Wales based disabled artists and companies with a strong track record in their artistic field to apply to create and present new work, across all art forms.

The work may still be at a very early stage of conception, or may have already undergone some research and development.

It is expected that Unlimited commission awards will range between £20,000 – £80,000 depending on scale and ambition (for Wales-based artists this is capped at £60,000).

Deadline for applications: 12 midday, Monday 2 February 2015.
