Peas, Placards, Protest!
Bobby Baker
As part of Bobby's exhibition at the Wellcome Collection, human campaigning peas will be protesting with placards and powerfully pertinent chants, inspiring the masses (of Euston at least) to join them in speaking their minds.
Why peas? There are many silent 'p's in the professions that deal with the mind, whether in psychology, psychiatry or psychotherapy. All of us are patients and some of us are professionals, too. You can hear the 'p' in patient, but can you hear what we all really think? That's why Bobby gives her 'p's a chance to speak their minds.
Come and hear them out, then pop into the workshop to make your own placard and play your part.
The event accompanies the Bobby Baker’s Diary Drawings: Mental Illness and Me 1997- 2008 exhibition. Presented by the Wellcome Collection and Bobby Baker's Daily Life Ltd.
