Empathy Museum
Open from 3-7pm on weekdays and 12-7pm on weekends. See here for full listings for Saturday 25 June.
What is it like to have been a prisoner of war? To be a sex worker, miner or refugee? Or to have rediscovered love in your eighties? The Empathy Museum invites you to take a moment to look at the world through someone else's eyes.
Curated by artist Clare Patey, the Empathy Museum presents A Mile in My Shoes, an interactive shoe shop where you can walk a mile in someone else's shoes – literally, and A Thousand And One Books, a new travelling crowd-sourced library, for armchair travel into other lives and times. A host of events, talks and workshops will accompany the installation.
Please bring a favourite book to donate to A Thousand And One Books and then follow its journey with other readers from Greenwich to Greenland. Find out more and donate to this crowd-sourced library here.
