Speaker biography
Aura Satz is an artist and writer. She has performed, exhibited and screened her work nationally and internationally, including Drift, a touring New Media Scotland feature film, presented at FACT Liverpool; Site Gallery, Sheffield; Galleria Civica di Arte Contemporanea di Trento, Italy; De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea; and the Zentrum Paul Klee, Bern. Her project I Am Anagram (www.iamanagram.com) showed at Whitechapel Gallery and was performed at the V&A, London. She is currently developing a project on Musical Automata to be shown in 2008. Between 2002-04 she held a Henry Moore Foundation Post-doctoral Sculpture Fellowship at the Slade, and since 2004 she has been a fellow at the London Consortium.
