Sweatshop: Risks, rights and reputations
This Sweatshop has been postponed. Get in touch via advisoryservice@artsadmin.co.uk if you are interested in this session and we will contact you when it is rescheduled.
This Sweatshop is aimed at artists making creatively risky, experimental work that may offend or cause controversy. The session looks at how to talk about risky work and equip you to become more confident in having artistic risk supported.
There will be an opportunity to discuss case studies, as well as exploring how to communicate artistic risk to venues and authorities such as local councils and the police.
Artsadmin’s expertise and experience lie in performance and live art, and so places for Sweatshops are best suited to artists working directly in these fields. This will be a discursive, free session for up to 12 artists.
You can let us know your access requirements ahead of time by emailing access@artsadmin.co.uk.
