Florence Peake’s MAKE at Baltic

Florence Peake‘s MAKE takes an irreverent look at how sculpture is created, displayed and maintained. A task force of female performers build and then dismantle a monolithic structure through a series of choreographed actions which ritualise, parody and unveil the often hidden labour of art-making.
