Artsadmin offers a unique and free one-to-one advice service to UK-based artists working in contemporary performance, at any stage of their career.

Sessions are informal and artist-led, offering an opportunity to talk about anything from artistic ideas and project development to funding and contexts for your work. Since it was set up in 1998, our Advisory Service has since provided advice, information and guidance to over 5000 artists.

Advisory service temporarily suspended

We are temporarily suspending our advisory service. This is a part of a wider strategic review in which we are looking at new ways of engaging with artists and better supporting the communities we work with. We hope to re-open our advisory service later in the summer.

In the meantime, please have a look at our resources page, including new finance resources, budget templates, videos and tips.

If you have any thoughts on what resources, conversations or programmes might be useful to artists in the UK, you’re welcome to submit ideas to

Many thanks,

The Artist Support Team
